Billing

Payment & Refund Policy

We stand behind the service. If a charge or a generation isn't right, we make it right — through credits and re-runs, not a scramble.

Effective date: July 3, 2026

How billing works

Content Generator is usage-metered. Every tenant gets a wallet with included free units per billing period. You can watch your balance at any time with GET /v1/usage. Usage beyond your included units is overage, billed through Stripe at the per-unit rate shown at the point of use. Our metering records are the source of truth for what you consumed.

Our promise: we make it right

The heart of this policy is simple: we would rather fix a problem than argue about a refund. Because generated units consume real compute the moment they run, consumed usage is generally non-refundable. In exchange, we back the service with a goodwill guarantee — if a generation genuinely failed or a charge is wrong, tell us and we will credit or re-run it. This is the honest, dispute-reducing way to run a metered service, and it protects both sides.

1. Subscriptions and included units

2. Metered overage

3. The goodwill guarantee, in practice

If a generation genuinely failed, returned nothing usable, or you were metered for something that clearly didn't run, email [email protected] and tell us what happened. We will credit the affected units or re-run them — that is how we make it right. This is deliberately generous: standing behind the service is better for you and for us than a money-back scramble.

4. Before a chargeback: contact us first

Almost every billing issue can be resolved quickly if you tell us about it. So:

5. Where the law requires a refund

These non-refundable terms apply except where a refund is required by applicable law. Some jurisdictions — for example, mandatory consumer-protection rights in the EU and UK — grant rights that cannot be waived by contract. Nothing in this policy removes a non-waivable statutory right you may have, and where such a right applies, we honor it.

6. Payment processing

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. Failed or reversed payments may pause billable usage until resolved.
